Euan Campbell - Physiotherapist
MCSP, HCPC Registered, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science.
Euan Campbell is an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with dual honours degrees in Physiotherapy and Sport & Exercise Science. After completing his initial degree in York, he qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2009.
Since 2013, Euan has been providing physiotherapy services at The Clinic in Malton, where he offers appointments every Wednesday. In addition to his private practice, he has extensive experience working across NHS and private sectors and he currently holds a role as a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Specialist First Contact Practitioner (FCP) working across nine GP practices in York. Within this capacity, he undertakes advanced musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and management, facilitating early intervention in the primary care setting. His role also includes close liaison with secondary care colleagues, with onward referral to Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Neurosurgery, and Neurology where appropriate, ensuring patients have timely access to specialist input when required.
This broad experience means that patients attending The Clinic can feel confident they are receiving the same high level of expertise, with clear guidance on their condition and reassurance that, if onward referral is ever needed, they will be directed to the most appropriate specialist care.
Euan has completed extensive postgraduate training to enhance his clinical expertise. He qualified as a Non-Medical Prescriber in 2024 at the University of York and undertook a master’s module in Injection Therapy at York St. John University in 2022. He has also completed additional training in acupuncture, shoulder rehabilitation, lower limb tendinopathy management, running biomechanics, and physiotherapy-led bike fitting.
Passionate about delivering evidence-based care, Euan tailors his approach to the individual, whether supporting athletes, active individuals, or anyone recovering from injury - ensuring treatment is effective, personalised, and suited to all ages and fitness levels.
Euan has a special interest in cycling and running injuries, which is fuelled by his personal experience of completing multiple Ironman triathlons. His passion for endurance sports shapes his approach to rehabilitation, with a focus on both recovery and performance enhancement.
Euan’s patient-focused care makes him a trusted resource for individuals looking to recover, improve performance, or manage long-term musculoskeletal issues.
Euan is a recognised physiotherapy provider with leading private health insurance companies, including AXA Health, AVIVA, WPA, and Vitality Health. This allows patients with eligible policies to access treatment at The Clinic through their insurer.
As an injection therapist, Euan provides Hyaluronic Acid (Ostenil) injections at The Clinic for the management of osteoarthritis symptoms. This simple, non-surgical treatment involves carefully injecting hyaluronic acid directly into the affected joint, where it acts to improve lubrication and cushioning. The result is often reduced pain, improved joint mobility, and better overall function.
Ostenil injections are considered a safe and effective option for people living with osteoarthritis, offering an alternative to long-term pain medication or, in some cases, delaying or avoiding the need for surgery. Many patients find that this treatment helps them return to the activities that matter most in daily life.
If you would like to find out whether Ostenil injections could help you, please get in touch for advice or to arrange a consultation.
Ostenil injections: £300 (including appointment fee). £275 for further injections.
Euan also provides Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) at The Clinic, a highly effective treatment for stubborn tendon and soft tissue conditions. This non-invasive approach is commonly used for injuries such as Achilles and patella tendinopathy, rotator cuff-related shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, and tennis elbow.
Shockwave Therapy works by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes, improving blood flow, and encouraging tissue repair. It is often recommended when symptoms have not improved with other treatments, helping many patients return to activity with reduced pain and improved function.
Shockwave Therapy (ESWT): £90 Initial Assessment and treatment; £70 Shockwave follow up appointment.
